In line with Strathclyde Sport’s 2030 Strategy, the University of Strathclyde is committed to using Rugby as a platform to enhance its International profile and sporting reputation.

Through sustained investment in performance sport and a longstanding partnership with Glasgow Warriors, the University has established a strong reputation for developing talented student-athletes, many of whom have progressed to national representative honours. This commitment to excellence has helped position Strathclyde as Scotland’s leading University Rugby programme.

As a result, both the Men's and Women's Rugby programmes are recognised as priority sports within the University and benefit from the support of a World-Class, multi-disciplinary Sports Science and Medical team. With strong foundations in place and a shared ambition to excel, both clubs are committed to competing and succeeding at the highest levels of University Rugby while continuing to develop players capable of progressing along national and professional performance pathways.

To build on this success, the University, in partnership with Glasgow Warriors, is seeking to appoint an experienced, proactive and inspirational Rugby Coach to lead the continued growth and development of both Men's and Women's Rugby Union programme.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performance environment while fostering a welcoming, safe and inclusive club culture that enhances the student experience, promotes personal development and supports student retention.
