Facilities & Security Systems Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to bring transformational change and development and we’re looking for a highly skilled and proactive technical specialist to lead our Facilities and Security systems across the University’s campuses. This is a key role within the Facilities Services Directorate, responsible for the configuration, operation and continuous development of our digital platforms including SALTO & ASSA ABLOY access control, CCTV systems, CAFM/PPM systems and wider building data environments.

You will act as a hands-on technical lead for system performance, data integrity, compliance, automation, workflow optimisation and digital transformation within Facilities. Working across multi services and you’ll ensure systems are reliable, compliant and delivering the insight needed for operational excellence.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong technical experience with access control, CCTV or digital FM systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience configuring systems, managing data workflows and supporting upgrades.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple service areas and communicate technical issues clearly.
• A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with strong organisational capability.
