Research Fellow in Automotive Multistatic Radars

Fixed Term Contract for 18 months

Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £38,655 to £39,665 per annum

Location: Shrivenham, Oxfordshire

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project funded by Innovate UKI. The overall project addresses a critical challenge in the UK’s Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) sector: delivering robust, cost-effective perception systems capable of safe operation in complex, real-world environments. To achieve this, we will integrate multiple radar units into autonomous vehicle platforms and evaluate perception algorithms in diverse scenarios.

The successful candidate will work closely with our industrial partners and will analyse the performance of our partners’ automotive radars in multistatic configurations. The project offers unique opportunities to work very closely with industry and other stakeholders on cutting-edge applied research.

About You

You will be educated to doctoral level in a relevant subject, and you will have experience of management research and publishing research results, with excellent communication skills.
