Student Engagement Coordinator

The Role 

Student Services and Experience are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and organised Student Engagement Coordinator to help strengthen student voice, engagement and partnership across the University. 

You will coordinate student feedback and engagement initiatives, lead National Student Survey (NSS) engagement activity, support the Students as Partners Framework, and contribute to projects focused on environmental sustainability, student training and the wider student experience. Using feedback and data, you will identify trends and help translate student insight into meaningful service improvements. 

You will have an Honours degree or equivalent experience, with excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills. You will be confident building relationships with a range of stakeholders and have experience of analysing data, managing feedback and delivering service improvements.

Proactive and adaptable, you will be comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively. Experience within Higher Education and coordinating student engagement events would be desirable. 

Key Skills and Responsibilities 

• Coordinate student surveys, focus groups, panels and consultation activity.
• Lead NSS communications and student engagement campaigns.
• Support student partnership initiatives, including peer-led opportunities.
• Analyse feedback and engagement data to inform service improvements.
• Develop and coordinate an annual Student Engagement Plan.
• Support student engagement with environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate campaigns and reporting for mandatory student training.
• Build effective partnerships with students, academic teams, professional services and the Students’ Union.
