About the role:
Are you passionate about ensuring health and social care research is designed to be as inclusive as possible and want to further your career as a Research Inclusion Advisor? As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to strategy across the RSS Imperial and Partners Hub. The role combines contributing to the strategic direction of our Hub with direct advisory support to innovators, clinicians, health and social care professionals, and academics on incorporating meaningful research inclusion in research design, funding applications, and project implementation.
What you would be doing:
As the Research Inclusion Advisor, you will be responsible for contributing to the implementation and refinement of the RSS Hub's Research Inclusion Strategy, which reflects NIHR's Research Inclusion Strategy. You will support the implementation and reporting of the national RSS Research Inclusion Strategy and contribute to the development of Hub and national RSS Annual Reports. You will be an active participator in the national RSS Research Inclusion Group meetings and collaborate across the RSS Network to achieve shared strategic objectives.
What we are looking for:
You will have a strong track record in delivering Research Inclusion within the context of applied health or social care research, including supporting researchers in embedding inclusive approaches. You will understand the NIHR funding landscape and inclusion requirements across different funding streams.
