Network Coordinator- EPSRC Green+ Network

Full time/ Fixed term contract for 12 months

Important Information: This is an in-person post based in Nottingham. It involves collaboration with other EPSRC-funded networks and international partners. The role requires regular travel across the UK and abroad to support workshops, co-creation activities, tutorials, Hackathons and national level events.

About GREEN+

GREEN+ is a national network funded by UKRI through EPSRC. It brings together researchers, green-space providers, healthcare professionals, community organisations and technology developers to explore how AI, sensing and low-energy digital technologies can support physical activity, mental wellbeing and social connectedness in green environments.

The Network is led by Professor Eiman Kanjo at Nottingham Trent University, with co-lead Professor Kia Nazarpour at the University of Edinburgh.

Role overview

We are seeking a proactive and service-focused Network Coordinator to provide reliable operational, administrative and project support to the Network Lead and leadership team. The postholder will help deliver agreed priorities and activities, using initiative to complete assigned work, identify issues and propose improvements within the Network’s strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Network’s day-to-day administration and operations.
• Support events, workshops, sandpits, training, meetings and community-engagement activities.
• Take responsibility for coordinating and delivering agreed activities, with opportunities to lead specific activities under the direction of the Network Lead.
• Liaise with researchers, green-space providers, healthcare professionals, community organisations, industry, government and international partners.
• Support Network calls, feasibility projects, funding bids, partnerships, laboratories and related academic or institutional initiatives.
• Provide responsive support to the Network Lead, leadership team and wider consortium.
• Learn new skills and use AI and digital tools to improve project delivery.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term post, with the possibility of extension subject to continued funding, performance and operational requirements. Regular workplace attendance and occasional UK or international travel may be required.
