Worcester College Schools Singing Partnership (WCSSP)
Contract: Up to 15 hours per week during term time (2 days), Fixed term (pilot) until 31st July 2027
Worcester College is excited to be piloting a Schools Singing Partnership in Oxford and are looking for a Programme Manager to focus on completing the set-up of, and then coordinating and administering, the initiative. This is a one-year pilot bringing weekly singing sessions during term time to around 250 children in Key Stage 2 across six Oxford schools, with a focus on Littlemore, the Leys and Jericho. The Programme Manager will be the operational lead: finalising and maintaining the partnership with the six schools and their multi-academy trusts, scheduling and supporting the Choral Animateur(s), making sure safeguarding and compliance are in place, coordinating termly performances, measuring the programme’s impact, and laying the groundwork (data, relationships and funding) for the partnership to continue beyond the pilot year. The post holder will also provide some administrative support for the wider activities of Music at Worcester.
The successful candidate will be degree-level educated in music, education, arts management or related fields, or have equivalent experience, and will have experience of building and managing partnerships with several stakeholders. The Programme Manager must be organised, have excellent communication and project management skills, and be able to work independently.
For an informal discussion on the post, please contact Caius Lee, Director of College Music on caius.lee@worc.ox.ac.uk
Closing date for return of applications is 11th October 2026 (00:00)
