THE ROLE
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will support the Head of FP&A in developing and delivering a high-quality, forward-looking financial planning and performance function across the University.
The role will provide financial modelling, forecasting, management information and analytical insight to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Working with large and complex financial and operational datasets, the postholder will help develop a greater understanding of the key drivers of university financial performance. A key focus of the role will be to improve the University's ability to understand financial performance at an activity, programme, institute and directorate level, moving beyond traditional budget-versus-actual reporting towards driver-based forecasting, contribution analysis and longer-term financial planning.
The postholder will work closely with the Head of FP&A, Finance colleagues and stakeholders across the University to improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of financial information.
