We are looking to appoint a Registered Nurse to the part-time (0.6 FTE, 21.9 hours per week) role of Lecturer in Nursing on a fixed term basis to cover a maternity from January 2027 until 24 December 2027.
Salary will be from £43,482 - £51,753 per annum (pro-rata for this part-time appointment). We welcome applications from individuals interested in part-time or shared working arrangements.
This role sits in the Academy of Nursing within the Department of Health and Care Professions in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences
The role
This role will contribute to teaching predominantly in Nursing, within the Department of Health and Care Professions. You will join a thriving academic community at an important stage of the development of our portfolio and contribute to all aspects of the student journey, including recruitment, module leadership, session design and delivery, assessment, quality assurance and student support.
About you
Be expected to work towards Fellow of the HEA status and to attend formal CPD relating to this.
