Pro Vice-Chancellor, Education and Student Experience

USW is developing an inclusive, innovative educational offer that responds to changing student, employer and community needs. Its ambition is to connect excellent teaching, flexible learning and effective support so that students can succeed in their studies and future careers.

We are now seeking to appoint a Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education and Student Experience. Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive and as a key member of the University Executive, you will lead education, learning and teaching, curriculum, assessment and student outcomes. Working across academic and professional services and in partnership with students, you will strengthen the whole student experience.

You will lead delivery of the USW 2030 Curriculum and Assessment principles, champion digital and AI-enabled learning, and drive measurable improvements in continuation, completion and graduate outcomes. You will strengthen academic quality and standards, close gaps in student outcomes and embed industry-informed learning, while developing sustainable educational partnerships and provision.

You will bring strong academic credibility and experience of leading education or student experience at scale within higher or comparable tertiary education. Your experience will include curriculum and institutional transformation, improved student outcomes and effective student partnership. You will combine expertise in inclusive pedagogy, digital learning and quality assurance with experience of leading large-scale educational contracts that generate income.

Byddwch yn cryfhau ansawdd a safonau academaidd, yn cau bylchau yng nghanlyniadau myfyrwyr ac yn ymgorffori dysgu sy'n seiliedig ar ddiwydiant, wrth ddatblygu partneriaethau a darpariaeth addysgol cynaliadwy.

Byddwch yn dod â hygrededd academaidd cryf a phrofiad o arwain addysg neu brofiad myfyrwyr ar raddfa fawr o fewn addysg uwch neu addysg drydyddol gymharol. Bydd eich profiad yn cynnwys trawsnewid cwricwlwm a sefydliadol, canlyniadau gwell i fyfyrwyr a phartneriaeth effeithiol â myfyrwyr. Byddwch yn cyfuno arbenigedd mewn addysgeg gynhwysol, dysgu digidol a sicrhau ansawdd â phrofiad o arwain contractau addysgol ar raddfa fawr sy'n cynhyrchu incwm.
