We are now seeking to appoint a Director of People and Organisational Development. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and as a member of the University’s senior leadership group, you will shape and deliver a people strategy aligned with institutional priorities. You will also lead a professional, responsive HR function that provides practical support to managers and colleagues.
Your remit will span workforce planning, organisational development, talent, reward, wellbeing and employee relations. You will lead workforce redesign, strengthen leadership and management capability, and use technology and people data to improve services and decisions. Building constructive partnerships with recognised trade unions and sustaining engagement and trust through change will be central to your success.
You will bring significant senior HR leadership experience within a large, complex organisation, with a record of delivering people strategies, major organisational change and measurable service improvements. An accomplished negotiator and inclusive leader, you will combine strategic thinking with operational delivery and sound judgement on complex employee relations. You will hold Chartered Membership of the CIPD, with evidence of building effective teams and advancing equality, diversity and inclusion.

Bydd meithrin partneriaethau adeiladol gydag undebau llafur cydnabyddedig a chynnal ymgysylltiad ac ymddiriedaeth drwy gyfnodau o newid yn ganolog i'ch llwyddiant.
Byddwch yn meddu ar brofiad sylweddol o arweinyddiaeth AD ar lefel uwch o fewn sefydliad mawr a chymhleth, gyda hanes profedig o gyflawni strategaethau pobl, newid sefydliadol mawr a gwelliannau gwasanaeth mesuradwy. Yn drafodwr medrus ac arweinydd cynhwysol, byddwch yn cyfuno meddwl strategol â chyflawni gweithredol a barn gadarn mewn materion cymhleth sy’n ymwneud â chysylltiadau gweithwyr. Byddwch yn dal Aelodaeth Siartredig o'r CIPD, gyda thystiolaeth o adeiladu timau effeithiol a hyrwyddo cydraddoldeb, amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant.
