About the role

Working within the Payroll team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate monthly payroll processes across multiple payrolls, ensuring that HMRC and other statutory requirements are met. You will be a confident communicator, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and support.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week for 6 months to cover a period of maternity leave. Following a training period, there is flexibility to work from home 2 days per week; however, you may be required to attend campus more frequently to meet business needs. Applications from candidates seeking part-time working (29.6 hours per week, 0.8 FTE) will also be considered.

You will be:

  • Contributing and delivering accurate monthly payroll processes
  • Producing a range of standard payroll documents in an accurate and timely manner
  • Interfacing with customers, partners and stakeholders, provideing advice, communicating changes and responding to enquiries and requests in an effective and timely manner

You will:

  • Be delivering high volumes of administration and meeting deadlines
  • Have numeracy and literacy at secondary education level (or equivalent demonstrable experience)
  • Be working as part of a team and on own initiative
