About Center for Robotics and Embodied Intelligence (CREI)
CREI is being established as a multidisciplinary research center focused on the science and engineering of intelligent systems that can perceive, reason, learn, interact, and act in the physical world. The Center aims to advance frontier research while translating robotics and embodied intelligence into high-impact applications relevant to Vietnam and the world.
The Opportunity
VinUniversity invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in Robotics to join the newly established Center for Robotics and Embodied Intelligence (CREI). The successful candidate will work closely with Prof. Xie Lihua, President‘s Chair Professor and Chief Scientific Officer of CREI, to build the Center‘s research agenda, laboratories, talent pipeline, partnerships, and international profile.
This is a founding opportunity for scholars who combine rigorous research with the ambition to create a globally visible robotics hub in Vietnam. Appointees will establish an independent research program while contributing actively to collaborative, mission-driven projects across CREI, CECS, VinUniversity, and the wider innovation ecosystem.
