About the Role
This is a pivotal systems and data-focused role supporting the operational delivery of undergraduate admissions. Oxford uses two main systems for undergraduate applications: Tribal SITS/eVision and an in-house database built on Microsoft Dynamics, the Admissions Decisions Support System (ADSS).
Working closely with the Head of Admissions Operations and other team members, you will help ensure the accuracy and reliability of applications data shared across colleges and departments and externally with UCAS. You will also support bespoke application processes and work with stakeholders and senior committees to improve undergraduate admissions operations and policy.
You will contribute to the wider work of the Admissions Operations team, including managing user queries from frequently asked questions to complex technical issues and sharing responsibility for the use of SITS/eVision. The team’s work also includes liaison with UCAS and other universities, internal meetings with colleges and departments, and projects such as admissions tests, statistics, and maintaining the online Admissions Handbook.
The team’s work is often technical and requires advanced data manipulation skills alongside the ability to solve problems relating to data and systems.
