About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a Faculty TNE Education Manager to provide leadership and operational expertise for education-related activity across the Faculty’s growing Transnational Education (TNE) portfolio.
Working across multiple international partnerships, you will lead the development and improvement of educational processes, quality assurance, curriculum management and regulatory compliance. You will manage cross-Faculty projects, support the implementation of university educational initiatives, and work closely with academic and Professional Services colleagues to promote consistency, collaboration and effective practice across TNE provision.
The role includes line management responsibilities and will be based at Queen Mary’s Mile End campus, with periodic international travel, particularly to China.
About You
You will be an experienced Higher Education Professional Services professional with significant experience in education administration and quality assurance within a TNE environment. You will have a strong understanding of TNE operations and the student lifecycle, alongside experience of developing and improving processes and managing complex projects.
You will be an excellent communicator and collaborative problem-solver, with the ability to build effective relationships across different teams, levels of seniority and cultural contexts. You will be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and supporting colleagues through change.
About TNE in the Faculty of Science and Engineering
The Faculty of Science and Engineering has over 22 years’ experience delivering large-scale TNE programmes and operates over 4 different locations in China, educating over 5,500 students a year.
Our portfolio continues to grow and diversify, with student numbers in China expected to exceed 8,000 by 2029/30 alongside the development of new international partnerships in China and overseas.
