We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Associate Lecturer or Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering to join our growing School of Engineering and Built Environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality teaching, research, and professional practice across our mechanical engineering portfolio.
You will play a key role in the delivery and development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, contributing to curriculum innovation, assessment, student support, and research, enterprise, and professional practice activity.
Key Responsibilities

You will demonstrate subject knowledge in areas such as signal processing, finite element methods, additive manufacturing, sustainability, or related engineering topics.

You will show a commitment to high-quality teaching, student support, quality assurance, and continuous professional development, including working towards relevant teaching and professional accreditation.
A PhD or Professional Doctorate (or near completion), or equivalent professional experience, is expected. Applicants without a PhD may be required to complete one within an agreed timeframe.
