King's Business School invites applications for funded, full-time PhD studentships in Management Studies, to start in October 2027. We welcome applications from those who qualify as Home or International for fees purposes and seek to attract talented and enthusiastic students who aspire to be future leaders in their academic fields of study. When completed, your award would state “PhD in your subject area” relating to the relevant Academic Department (e.g., PhD in Economics, PhD in Marketing).
Please note: to be considered for the PhD Studentship you should already have supervisory support when you submit your application.
King's Business School Management Studies welcomes applicants in any of our areas of research expertise:
The admissions portal opening date is 20th October 2026, and the closing date for applications is 1st December 2026 at 11:59pm.
Decisions will be announced in early 2027.
Applicants are required to contact potential supervisors to discuss their proposal before applying. Supervisors should have indicated willingness to supervise you before you submit your application.
Details of research undertaken within the School can be found by exploring our Departments and academic staff pages.
