Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their ambitions? Join the GROWS team, a partnership of Gloucestershire's higher education providers led by the University of Gloucestershire, delivering the Office for Students (OfS) Uni Connect Programme across the county.
About the Role:
Help young people make informed choices about their future.
We are seeking a qualified Progression Adviser to provide impartial careers and progression guidance to young people across Gloucestershire.
Working in schools and colleges, you will deliver one-to-one guidance interviews, small group sessions and workshops that help learners explore higher education, apprenticeships, training and employment opportunities. You will support individuals to identify their aspirations, understand their options and develop realistic progression plans.
We're looking for someone with a Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification (or equivalent), experience of working with young people, and a passion for helping learners achieve their potential and make confident decisions about their future.
You'll work flexibly, with time spent in schools, on campus, and working from home. Access to a vehicle is important due to the nature of the role and equipment that needs to be taken to schools and colleges to deliver the sessions.
