The Baillie Gifford Pandemic Science Hub (https://psh.ac.uk/) seeks a postdoctoral researcher experienced with pharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery to develop next-generation inhaled therapies to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. In this role, the postdoctoral researcher will conduct research using analytical techniques to investigate nanoparticle-based drug delivery and nebulisation technologies. They will analyse data, lead experiments, and contribute to research publications, while also supervising students and engaging in collaborative projects.
Ideal candidates will have a PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical or biomedical sciences, along with strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience with inhalation and formulation development is a plus. This role involves participation in innovative ARIA-funded projects within an inclusive and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional development.
