Are you a careful and competent laboratory worker who is committed to producing technically high quality sample resources and research data? Can you provide technical support to translational research projects seeking to improve treatment of patients diagnosed with multiple myeloma?
As an enthusiastic, talented and motivated scientific research technician you will support accelerated aging translational work as part of NIHR Leeds BRC Haematology theme. The main focus of this workstream is furthering the understanding of the biology of the relationship between myeloma and frailty. Your role will encompass processing patient samples for clinical validation studies and participating in the analysis of those samples.
Working in the team of Professor Gordon Cook, you will be directly supervised by Dr Claire Taylor. The research team comprises clinical academics and scientists with expertise in immune profiling; developing clinical, radiological and MedTech frailty assessments in both clinical trials and real-world settings.
