About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a post-graduate statistician to develop and thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and provide statistical input into the design, conduct and analysis of trials.
You will be required to work independently in conducting the design and analysis of clinical trials in accordance with the Unit’s standard operating procedures and Good Clinical Practice guidelines; prepare reports for the Data Monitoring Committees and attend their meetings to present the interim results; develop and conduct other trial-related projects, such as methodological research, secondary analyses of existing datasets and systematic reviews in collaboration with other CTU staff.
You will join an active statistics group within Warwick CTU and work with senior statisticians to provide statistical support on the design of large multi-centre randomised controlled trials, conduct analyses of datasets from the trials and contribute to the final reports. Current areas of research include cancer, emergency and critical care, mental health, musculoskeletal disorders and pain, rehabilitation, trauma and Orthopaedics.
This post attracts a non-pensionable supplement of £5,000.00 pro rata per year in addition to the stated standard University pay range for this post.
