Leeds Beckett International Study Centre has recently been approved to start a brand-new international Year one programme in Sport and Health Science. As the first year of this exciting new programme, this position offers a unique opportunity to shape its foundation through initial module development before transitioning into comprehensive teaching responsibilities across the curriculum. We are therefore seeking an enthusiastic academic professional with proven experience in module development and specialised expertise in key areas including Human Physiology and Kinesiology in Sport and Exercise Science, Nutrition for Health and Sport Performance, and Research Methods in Sport and Exercise Science. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building educational programmes from the ground up while delivering high-quality teaching to international students.
You will work with colleagues across the Centre to ensure the effective delivery of teaching programmes in line with our education strategy, broader scholarship and aims for an outstanding student experience. You will also contribute directly to student support and to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices across the Centre. As a tutor, you will contribute to the design, development and production of teaching and learning materials and delivery across a range of modules or within a subject area.
