About the Role
Queen Mary University of London and GPU-Prime Ltd have been awarded a highly competitive grant in the framework of the batch 48 SME ATI programme. The focus of the 12-month research-and-development project is to develop and validate a GPU-native Large Eddy Simulation (LES) toolchain for unsteady aerodynamics and aeroacoustics, enabling earlier, faster, and more cost-effective design decisions in UK aerospace programmes. This full-time Researcher job at Queen Mary University of London is needed to support the validation and modelling of the high-fidelity CFD-CAA tools for the ATI-IUK project. In addition to HPC runs, this work will also include advanced post-processing and analyses using data-driven methods.
About You
A successful applicant will have a PhD (or close to completion) or research qualification/experience equivalent to PhD level in the relevant subject area. In addition, the key experience required include LES, Computational Aeroacoustics, GPGPU Computing. Knowledge of CABARET and experience with data-driven analysis methods is desirable.
