Technical Officer (Pharmacy Technician)

Applications are invited for an appointment as Technical Officer (Pharmacy Technician), 1 FTE, permanent, in the Discipline of Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at University of Galway. The post is intended for an experienced pharmacy technician, with at least three years’ post-qualification experience in hospital or community pharmacy, who wishes to move into pharmacy education and support the practical, dispensing and simulation teaching of the MPharm programme.

Salary: € 47,550 to € 62,122 (Direct entry scale may apply) (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011) and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the University’s Remuneration policy.QA321-Remuneration-Payroll-Policy.pdf (This appointment will be made on the Technical Officer scale in line with current Government pay policy)
