Are you a registered healthcare professional with experience delivering occupational health surveillance programmes and providing evidence-based advice on workplace health risks? Do you want to play a key role in protecting the health and wellbeing of staff within a large and diverse university community?
As an experienced Occupational Health Practitioner, you will lead the delivery of a comprehensive occupational health surveillance programme across the University, supporting compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and contributing to the prevention and early detection of work-related ill health. You will undertake a range of health surveillance activities, interpret findings, and provide professional advice to managers and employees to promote safe and healthy working environments.
Alongside health surveillance activities, you will contribute to the wider delivery of occupational health services, including health screening, immunisation programmes, venepuncture and fitness-for-work assessments.
