Registry Coordinator

Arden University

Arden University is an independent higher education provider offering a broad range of degrees, Master’s and MBA programmes by online distance learning and on campus blended learning. Since 1990, we have been giving learners worldwide an opportunity to further their studies in a way that suits their lifestyle. We are proud that with our help, thousands of students realise their goals and make a difference to the world around them. Our students are spread throughout the world and the vast majority of them combine their studies with work, accessing our study materials through our interactive ilearn platform.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join Arden University’s Academic Affairs Department. Academic Affairs has responsibility for student registrations, submission and examining of all assessments, arranging examinations, supporting student feedback and academic committees and oversight of all quality assurance processes. It comprises two main teams – Quality and Registry.

The Registry and Assessments team has overall responsibility for the managing all assessment and registration processes for students, and for managing and reporting student data including liaison with the Higher Education Statistics Agency. Duties include maintenance of the student record system, coordination and organisation of all aspects of the student assessment cycle and attending and supporting exam boards. It is anticipated that the main focus of this role in the first twelve months will be to support Arden students in the final stages of their programme through their dissertation or research project completion and more generally to support the operation of examination boards, production of certificates, transcripts and graduation processes.

We are looking ideally for a graduate with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.

Arden University offers a friendly, supportive and dynamic place to work, with a range of staff benefits in addition to a competitive salary.
