The role
The University of Bristol is a highly successful university and is ranked a top 10 UK university and 62nd in the world QS rankings (2022.) We are proud of what our graduates go on to do; contributing significantly to society and to the economy, to public and private sectors, to large and small organisations or starting their own business, working locally or nationally or internationally. In many ways, our graduates are our story; their success, in whatever walk of life they choose to take, is crucial to our reputation.
The Careers Service plays a key role in the success of our students and works with them across their student journey. The service, comprised of 6 teams, is responsible for student and graduate career management and employability and works extensively with colleagues across the University, and with external partners and employer to inspire and support students to get to where they want to be when they graduate.
The Bristol PLUS Award Team is responsible for delivering the Bristol PLUS Award, the University’s student employability award, and brokering and delivering mutually beneficial work experience and skills development opportunities with Bristol and city region’s third sector.
