A Faculty Director for the Post Compulsory Education and Training Phase (PCET) programmes to provide academic leadership on the range of teaching awards delivered at our London and Kent partner colleges.
In this role you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Diploma in Education and Training / ProfGCE level 4-6 and its associated pathways in partnership with our large consortium of Further Education Colleges in London and the south east.
You will lead the ongoing development of the curriculum, including preparation for revalidation. The role involves coordination of the team of module leads at Canterbury Christ Church and partnership working with centre co-ordinators and tutors at our partner colleges.
You will oversee the quality assurance processes for these programmes and contribute to the strategic management of the partnership. You will also be involved in the faculty leadership group.
You will have a teaching qualification have experience as a teacher, a teacher educator and a manager of teacher education provision. You should hold a first degree and higher degree or equivalent and have extensive experience of working in the Further Education and Skills sector. You must be able to demonstrate effective communication and organisational skills in teaching, learning and assessment.
