Leeds Beckett University - Marketing
The Digital Experience and Engagement Team, within the Marketing Service at Leeds Beckett, is tasked with reshaping the digital landscape across our university. Our website was awarded “best in class” at the 2015 HE awards and helped to deliver aggressive recruitment targets within our core business areas. To help us build upon this success we are looking to recruit a digital designer to join this busy team.
Primarily supporting the delivery of our University’s online redevelopment projects, the post holder will be expected to deliver significant contributions to the successful delivery of these projects.
This role will give you the ability to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of areas in a busy and business critical department. Experience of working in a similar area would be an advantage although it is not essential, as long as you can demonstrate the relevant skills required. However, we are ideally looking for someone with a good knowledge and experience of UX design, graphic design, rich media development (e.g. animation, video production, interactivity) and you should have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS and other web technologies.
Reporting into the Senior Designer, you will be expected to be a self-starter and able to work under your own steam, supporting colleagues across the rest of the team and the wider business.
We would welcome applications from recent graduates or seeking their first role in the digital sphere.
Closing date: 7 November 2016 (Midnight)

Working here means you’ll also have access to a wide range of benefits including our generous pension schemes, excellent holiday entitlements, flexible working, reduced study fees, subsidised fitness facilities and a lot more.
We welcome applications from all individuals and particularly from black and minority ethnic candidates as members of these groups are currently under-represented at this level of post. All appointments will be based on merit.
