Salary Maximum: £18.42 per hour (£34,956 full-time equivalent)
The Centre for Lifelong Learning are looking for a sessional tutor to supplement the existing team delivering a foundation degree and BA honours in Person-centred Counselling & Psychotherapy. You will work as a member of the tutor team delivering the curriculum, managing the time-table and developing teaching materials. You will be responsible for assessing the theoretical knowledge and professional practice of students, providing tutorial support for students and ensuring they meet the academic and professional requirements of the course.
You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and a suitably qualified person centred counsellor with preferably a Post Graduate qualification in a relevant subject.
A theoretical and practical knowledge of the counselling and psychotherapy profession, or related professions, is essential. Experience of the design, planning and running of courses is also desirable.
