The post-holders will join a team that are using a combination of molecular pharmacology, novel genetic animal models and biochemical approaches to dissect the clinical potential of high value G protein coupled receptors. Working with Professors Andrew Tobin and Graeme Milligan this project will have a specific focus on GPR35 as a novel therapeutic target in human disease. The post holders will work in the newly established Centre for Translational Pharmacology at Glasgow and be expected to work with industrial and academic collaborators to define the physiological role and clinical potential of GPR35.
