Research Impact Manager (Part Time)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced impact professional to join the Research Information & Intelligence team within Research & Innovation Services at the University of Bath.

Research carried out by University of Bath's academic community has made an enormous impact on the major challenges facing the world; this role will be key in proactively supporting the understanding and development of impact across the University. The primary aim of the role is is to work with academics and Research & Innovation Services staff to help develop a consistent approach to planning for, engaging in and evidencing impact through the provision of advice to individual researchers, broader training events and the development of web resources. You will also play a key role in planning for the next round of the Research Excellence Framework (REF), providing strategic advice, information and analysis on research impact.

Ideally, you will have work experience in Knowledge Exchange or REF impact preparation gained through working in a similar role in a research-intensive University. You will be an excellent communicator with a proven ability to articulate the key issues and solutions to planning for impact within a University. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to think strategically and to contribute to strategic direction and to develop strong working relationships with both academic and professional services staff.

The role is offered on a part-time basis of 18.25 hours per week (0.5 FTE).
