Temporary contract for 24 months
The Open University (OU) is unique among UK universities in combining a mission to widen access to higher education with research excellence. The DiSC project (Digital Skills and Capabilities) is a ground-breaking OU-wide initiative to establish a digitally capable university by improving the digital skills of OU staff and students.
You will utilise the latest digital capabilities research and practice to help shape the design and delivery of OU digital capabilities development programmes. As a confident digital advocate, you will engage with stakeholders across the OU to identify digital capability needs and encourage and support participation in skills development activities.
You will have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of identifying requirements and an understanding of developing digital skills in different stakeholder groups. You will have good attention to detail, be self-motivated and will work flexibly as part of a team. Sound project experience and good Microsoft Office skills are essential.
