The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences is comprised of four Schools who deliver a high quality accredited courses and world class research. We have a firmly international outlook which is further under-pinned by our investment in areas that are critical to contemporary health and social care academia. One such example of this is the recent opening of the Leicester Academy for the Study of Ageing (LASA) which brings together health, academic and charitable organisations to provide a renewed focus upon this important area of study.
The post of Professor/Reader of Integrated Health and Social Care is new and we believe that it will make a critical contribution to our work in this space. We are seeking to appoint a research leader with an outstanding track record in a related field who will be inspired to drive forward inter-disciplinary work within our Faculty. With strong external networks, proven success in attracting grant funding and an appetite to mentor and support colleagues and partners, he or she will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a unique raft of research that will have an impact upon the communities and individuals alike.
