Undergraduate Admissions Officer (3 posts)

University College London - Student and Registry Services Admissions

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £27,545 - £32,281 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

We are looking to recruit three experienced Admissions Officers to work in our central undergraduate admissions team, which manages applications to programmes across UCL.

Duties will include: the administration of all aspects of undergraduate admissions, such as assessing and making selection decisions on applications against agreed criteria; communicating decisions to UCAS and applicants; handling enquiries from applicants, parents, schools and colleagues within UCL; and preparing documentation to support applicants applying for a visa through the Home Office points based immigration system.

Successful candidates will have experience of admissions in a higher education setting. The appointees will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure. The nature of the work requires individuals with good interpersonal skills who are able to successfully work in a team.

Applicants should apply online. To access further details about the position and how to apply please click on the ‘Apply’ button below.

If you have any queries regarding the vacancy or the application process, please contact the Head of Undergraduate and ITE Admissions, Sarah West, by email to s.j.west@ucl.ac.uk or on +44(0)20 3108 8225.

Latest time for the submission of applications: 23:59.

Interview Date: 16 and/or 19 December 2016.

We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates as they are under-represented within UCL at this level.

This position does not meet the resident labour market test under UK Border Agency rules and therefore UCL would be unable to obtain the right to work for non-EEA nationals whose employment would require a Tier 2 visa.
