The University of West London is a leading modern university specialising in the education and development of exceptional creative, business and service professionals.
The Student Recruitment Team Leader is part of a small Student Recruitment Team which is responsible for the planning and implementation of student recruitment activities in order to ensure the University meets its targets at all levels.
Managing a small team, the post holder will be responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of the University’s student recruitment plan, in liaison with the Head of Recruitment and Customer Relationships. This involves the development, implementation and evaluation of a range of recruitment activities including: the organisation of recruitment events; representation of the University at events such as UCAS exhibitions and HE fairs; and participation in recruitment planning.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of working within higher education (or similar) student recruitment and of leading and motivating a team, with excellent customer service, communication, presentation and organisational skills, and the ability to work within a team and on their own initiative. An understanding of the higher education sector and a flexible approach to work is essential.
