Cardiff University - Dementia Research Institute (DRI)

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated scientist to carry out research into the molecular mechanisms of genetic risk for Alzheimer’s Disease. The project will use genome-wide approaches to investigate how the gene regulatory landscape of microglia is involved in Alzheimer’s Disease. Applicants should have a PhD in a related subject area (e.g. molecular biology or functional genomics) and proven and demonstrable experience in molecular biology techniques, cell culture and functional genomic approaches.
