We are seeking a senior lecturer to join the academic team in the Department of Marketing in the Business School. This is a permanent role that has been created as a result of programme portfolio expansion. The Department will consider applications from candidates who wish to work either on a full-time (i.e. 1 FTE) or a part-time (i.e. fractional) contract.

You will be committed to:

  • delivering an outstanding student learning experience,
  • contributing to research in areas that lie within the Schools research clusters and
  • pro-active engagement with external stakeholders, e.g. employers, consultancy clients.

You will be:

  • participating in research leading to publication and/or engaging in scholarly activity,
  • teaching UG and/ or PG students in marketing and related specialist areas as appropriate,
  • supervising and assessing students projects and dissertations,
  • initiating and sustaining mutually beneficial partnerships with external stakeholders within related industries,
  • undertaking curriculum development work including planning, development, evaluation and updating of courses and course materials,
  • supporting the pastoral needs of students,
  • contributing to extra-curricular and student recruitment activities.
