Teaching Fellow

Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in the Department of Economics.

The teaching fellow should be able to teach Environment Economics, Development Economics, Financial Econometrics as well as supervising MSc Dissertations, especially in finance.

The successful applicant will be required to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses as agreed with the Head of Department, and participate in departmental curriculum design activity and teaching quality enhancement activities. The successful candidate will also be required to supervise undergraduate and MSc projects, act as a Personal and Academic Tutor, and undertake required course administration (e.g. exam paper production and marking).

The successful applicant must have teaching experience at undergraduate and also postgraduate level. It is expected that the post holder will have a PhD. The successful applicant must also have research skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The post is part time (0.66FTE) with the teaching taking place in the spring term. The post is available from 8 January 2018 for a fixed term period of 9 months part time. The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
