The MRC Human Genetics, Institute for Genetics and Molecular Medicine (IGMM), is seeking up to three 3 year postdoctoral Fellows, funded by the National Productivity Investment Fund, to start by January 2018. Fellows would deliver a programme of high quality research, harnessing the use and interpretation of large or high dimensional datasets to investigate human health and disease. The MRC Human Genetics Unit leads research across genetic, genomic, cellular, molecular sciences in an integrated and collaborative environment and is located within one of the world’s top Universities with a strong track record in data science. Applicants with expertise in bioinformatics, informatics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or computational biology are particularly welcome.

The role is grade UE07 and attracts an annual salary of £32,548 to £38,833 for 35 hours each week. Salary is paid monthly by direct transfer to your Bank or Building Society account, normally on the 28th of the month. Salaries for part-time staff are calculated on the full-time scales, pro-rata to the Standard Working Week.
