We are seeking a highly-motivated Research Nurse, with a positive outlook and high level of communication skills to join a dynamic group of nurses and clinicians supporting research studies into gut and lung diseases. The work will primarily (but not exclusively) involve identifying and recruiting patients with lung diseases (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and sarcoidosis) and control lung diseases or healthy patients, to our research studies performed at the MRC Human Immunology Unit.

The postholder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and researchers and will direct the recruitment, data entry and sample collection (blood, tissue and lung lavage samples) from patients attending Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) clinics and bronchoscopy lists. They will be part of the Oxford Research Nurses for Inflammatory and Immune Diseases (ORNIID) group based at the Nuffield Department of Medicine (NDM), John Radcliffe Hospital.

This position is fixed-term for 2 years.
