Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Children’s Nursing

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to contribute to the provision of high quality teaching and research within the Institute of Health Professions, within the pre-registration nursing portfolio. The role will include maintenance of high academic standards and enhancement to the student experience, development of the faculty’s portfolio of courses, linking with relevant external partners and the generation of external income for the University. 

You will be educated to Master’s degree level or equivalent and be currently registered with the NMC as RN (Children’s Field). You will have experience of healthcare provision at an appropriate level, with an understanding of healthcare policy and provision both locally and nationally. You will have a commitment to engaging with the clinical practice environment to support students and develop the area and maintain up to date knowledge and skills relevant to the field of Children’s nursing practice; in order to deliver a dynamic, responsive curriculum.
