Teaching Fellow in Economics

University of Reading - School of Politics, Economics and International Relations

We are seeking to appoint two Teaching Fellows in Economics. We are looking for Teaching Fellows who will be able to conduct high quality teaching of the following modules offered by the Economics Department: Econometrics, International Economics, Economics of Social Policy and Banking in Emerging Economies. Expertise in teaching Economics is essential and in teaching the above topics desirable. The ability to lead or contribute to other modules in economics is also desirable.

You will have:

  • PhD or equivalent in Economics.
  • Enthusiasm and Ability to carry out high quality teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Experience of developing teaching materials.
  • Concern for student welfare.
  • Personable in relating to students and provisions of pastoral duties.
