Wrexham Glyndwr University has been successful in its project application through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. The aim of this project is to develop clusters of horticulture businesses involved in increasing product shelf life and reducing harvest waste.

The Communications Officer will manage the project’s website and provide liaison with press and external organisations, including writing press releases and articles.

This post is an important new role in the Welsh horticulture industry and represents a significant opportunity to develop the strategies of supply chains.
