The Recruitment and Outreach Officer will work closely as part of a team to lead and deliver a range of activities for students in schools and colleges. This will involve delivering talks on a range of higher education topics and providing one-to-one guidance to prospective students. The post holder will also be required to represent the University at national recruitment events and to manage incoming visits designed to raise student awareness of higher education.

Building relationships directly with school and college staff will be an important factor in the success of the role. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with the capability to proactively pursue this aim.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a detailed knowledge of the UK undergraduate recruitment market and the UCAS cycle, together with previous experience of student recruitment.

Reporting to the Student Recruitment & Outreach Manager, the Recruitment and Outreach Officer will be a key liaison point for undergraduate recruitment in Marketing & Student Recruitment, and will work closely with colleagues in academic areas to develop a targeted outreach programme.

The post holder will be required to work flexible hours (including evenings and occasional weekend commitments).
