Research Assistant

We have an opening for a Research Assistant for data-driven 3D shape modelling. The Computer Graphics and Visualisation Unit at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, is a research group focusing on character animation, 3D shape modelling and computer graphics.

Applicants must, at a minimum, have a degree in relevant areas, including machine learning, robotics or computer graphics. In addition, they must be able to demonstrate first-hand experience of working with deep learning techniques, including Generative Adversarial Networks, Convolutional Neural Networks, and 3D volumetric data. Excellent programming and research skills are essential.

This post is full time and fixed-term post which is available from 1st November 2017 (the starting date is flexible) for 11 months.

Salary: £27,285 - £31,604 per annum
