About You

With a PhD in Film or Television research, you will have a detailed and highly specialised knowledge and understanding of UK film and TV sectors. To be successful you will need experience of collaborative working and evidence to demonstrate your capacity to publish high quality outputs.

About the Role

You will take a leading part in developing an impact case study, working with Professor Roger Shannon, Associate Director of our Institute for Creative Enterprise.

This is an opportunity for you to work in a vibrant research culture supporting the development of impact case studies for REF 2021. Edge Hill has a rapidly growing PhD population and excellent support in place for early career researchers.

You will be responsible for dissemination of findings, documentation of impact evidence and public engagement initiatives. In addition, you will be expected to engage with the following: submit joint-authored papers for publication in high quality journals arising from work in the Media department; write and submit an external funding proposal; and establish and support innovative forms of community engagement.
