The Clinical Trials Research Centre, Department of Biostatistics, has a large portfolio of national and international clinical trials and other well designed studies. Our portfolio includes clinical trials evaluating medicines, medical devices and other interventions. We are seeking an individual to lead the co-ordination of the COPE project. Funded by NIHR HTA, COPE is a randomised double-blind, multi-centre trial comparing treatment of primary post-partum haemorrhage with oxytocin or carboprost. You will work closely with the lead investigators and other research personnel to ensure successful completion of the project. Responsible for the day-to-day management oversight of COPE, you should have experience of co-ordinating clinical trial/s and have a degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience) and possess excellent communication and presentation skills along with the ability to organise yourself and others. You will be able to demonstrate the following qualities: reliability, attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and experience of Microsoft Office. The post is for 3 years in the first instance.
