About the role:
Working closely with a team of Admissions Officers, Administrators and School of Medicine Admissions Tutors, in a busy but friendly and supportive environment, you’ll have responsibility for the efficient administration of student applications. You’ll provide information and advice to both potential and current applicants about the courses we offer and work with colleagues in marketing to convert these applicants to students. This demanding, customer focussed role will require you to lead a small team, work accurately under pressure and to apply, implement agreed admissions criteria and procedures and report on progress against student recruitment targets.

With a degree or relevant professional qualification, administrative experience in an education or Higher Education environment, you'll have experience of using student databases and of supervising a team. You’ll be able to organise and prioritise your workload, and that of your team, and work without direct supervision to agreed deadlines. You’ll have relevant previous administrative experience from an admissions medical subjects’ education background. With the ability to work methodically and analytically, you’ll also be able to demonstrate excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as strong IT skills.
