Casework Officer

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £28,014 - £32,830 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

UCL’s Academic Services department ( is responsible for a range of key operations, including: institutional governance; academic policy and quality assurance; student records and student data; examinations; and casework. The Casework Officer is responsible for supporting the operational management of UCL’s student complaints, appeals and misconduct procedures.

You will need to demonstrate experience of providing advice on regulatory and procedural matters, and of ensuring compliance with policy and procedures. You must also possess a working knowledge of student support arrangements and record keeping, and the ability to deal with complex confidential situations with sensitivity and tact.
